one week

Well only one week left until we head down to virginia. Next week at this time of day we will be on the road and should be in about new hampshire.  Today I have to go and apply for 3 jobs for my unemployment. Not much else is going on right now. Saturday we are going to a party to say bye to the Lynch's. 

9 days till move.

Well not  much going on today. I had to call and get my unemployment straightend out. Got that taken care of.  I also got told that I didn't have to do work searches if I started looking into going to school. So I called the person at the  carrer center who is working the Nautel case. To see what I need to do so when i get down to virginia I can hopefully start going to school. 

So that was a little bit of good news. It gives more hope that everything is going to go just fine once we get down there. 

Other than that I am going to pack up one box. With some of the misc. things  we have foudn laying around. 

I will let you know about the outcome from talking to the carrer center about the schooling.

Sunday with mom and dad

Well my parents came to visit today. We went out to the mall and had lunch at Applebees. It was good I had the Bruchetta burger. Yum I think we went to almost every store in the area. It was nice to visit with them. They said they would be back up next weekend to see us again before we head to virginia. I'm glad because I will miss them being so far away. 

Fun At Kasie's and Damon's

Well we had a good time at Kasie's and Damons place tonite. Kasie made some spaghetti and Meatballs YUM it was good. It was nice just to hang out with friends after a busy week of packing. We also watched the movie premenition with Sandra Bullock. Excellent movie by the way. It was a very twisted movie but  in a good sort of way. 

When the night came to an end. Saying see you later was pretty hard on Leaha and I. After all Kasie and Damon are our best friends. And we love Patience as much as we would our own child. 

We will definatly miss the three of you, along with everyone one else we are moving away from. Moving to Virginia is not the hard part it is moving away from our family and friends we love that is the rough part. But even though it is hard we are going to be there for eachother and keep ourselves strong. We are definatly going to keep in touch as much as  possible with everyone. I intend to keep updating my Twitter micro blog everyday, and this blog as often as time allows. 

Tomorrow my parents are coming over and we are going out. So till tomorrow. 

First resting day

Yeah we get to rest and have fun today. We are going out with Kasie and Damon around 2pm today. It is a nice hot day today good for the American Folk Festival. I'm glad you had nice weather for it mom and dad. 

The pool is green again so I have to try and get it back to blue waters and let Skip know how to keep it that way. The pool is a bit of work when you open it but it isn't that bad once it is all set. But the cold nights with all the rain we have had the last couple of weeks turned the water to alage ridden it should be back to normal before the weekend is over though. The cold nights has cooled the water down quite a bit. It makes it a little harder to get in and vacum it. 

Well I have to go and get ready not sure what we are doing tonite probably eating out and a movie.  

Almost done

We only have a little bit left to pack mostly our bed, tv, and tivo and our computers. Most of which will not get packed up until the truck is dropped off on the 31st to load up. I'm excited and a little scared about the move. On one hand I can't wait to experience living in another state and see the different opportunities that are presented to me. But on the other hand I'm moving away from my family. These feeling are not new at all, it has been a long battle for the last 4 months while we were thinking about what to do. 

There is not a whole lot else going on just trying to talk to and see everyone while pack and get ready for the move.

Friday and getting closer to being done packing

It is only about 10am and I have already been pretty busy. I had to run around looking for boxes this morning. I went to two different hannaford's this morning and neither one of them had any boxes for me. They crush them as soon as the store opens. Apparently on fridays they open before 8am. So after both of them shot me down I headed towards the mall area, and went to wal-mart thankfully they had quite a few boxes. Hopefully it will be enough to get us through the rest of the packing. 

I'm also trying to decide if I should take the roadside assistance for my cell phone it is only 2.99 a month and could be very handy on our long drive if something should go wrong. It is still in the air but I'm thinking I may take it.

Well that is all for this morning time to get busy packing I guess.

Another day of packing

We got a lot of packing done today. We filled up all our boxes so I have to get up early tomorrow morning to go to shop-n-save and pick up some more, hopefully they have some. We should have almost everything done tomorrow. (crosses fingers). Most of the bedroom will wait till the end of next week so we can still have our computers and tv until then.

More packing

Well we finished packing up our clothes, books, movies, and what ever else was in the back bedroom. I'm not even sure. So that leaves the bathroom and our bedroom. And what ever kitchen stuff Leaha is taking. We mostly have pictures and electronics left. 

I hope we are just about fully packed by the end of this weekend.  I'm not sure if that will happen or not but I can hope. That is pretty much all I have been up to today. 

Leaha had to see her doctors today to get her perscriptions filled before we go. We were not able to get the medicines in a 3 months supply like we hoped. 

Nancy had me make the lasanga today so I could remember the recipie better. She makes awesome home made sauce. Nice and spicey just the way I like it. I am also going to learn how to make the chilie and macaroni.

We decided to call it a night. I may still do some things after supper but for now we are both in resting mode. It has been a long few days. Well i guess I don't have much else to say today.

Keep on checking in I will update as often as I can. The little posts on the right side Should be updated daily anyway. So it is a little bit of info on what is going on and this blog will get updated as much as I can.

Started Packing Today

Leaha and I started packing today. There is a lot to do. We Are using some of those bags you pack stuff in than suck the air out of them. We are going to have to contiune packing tomorrow. 

We also have to go to Leaha's two doctor appointments tomorrow so we can get her medicines refilled before we go.

Day 1 of Blog

Well today was another busy day for Leaha and I. We picked up some space bags to store our sheets, sweaters and comforter in. Takes up a lot less space that way.

We also had to pick up a few things for Rollie to travel with. He needed a carrier, leash, and harness to travel. 

I also finalized our trip route we are taking, booked our hotel room, and got my new cell phone number. The number by the way is 540-406-0318. I don't have the phone yet but will have it before we leave on Sept. 5th.  

There is still a lot of stuff for us to do. Tomorrow we are going to start packing. That should be a lot of fun. Well I'm going to try and keep this updated everyday.

Leaha is also starting a blog that is going to have all kinds of pictures she takes on our drive down as soon as i have the link I will post it.
