Those are the train tracks We can see from our front porch. Perfect spot for Mom and Dad to jump off when they take the train down here. :) If you don't wanna jump off the train station is less than a mile from where I live.

Just a couple pictures of me cooking on our new table top gas grill. Nothing Fancy but it made a good steak and potatoes. It also made a good piece of chicken for leaha.

These are a few pictures of our bedroom it was a little messy the day we took the pictures but Leaha and I's bed rooms have always been a little messy. Just a little lack of storage space.

It is kinda small picture but it is the only one I have right now. We are almost all moved in we have a few more things to get out of storage but the place is coming along nicely.

Yay Got job

Well the printing press called me this morning with a job offer. I start next Monday or Tuesday depending on what crew i will be on. The HR person is going to talk to the press supervisor and call me back to tell me what day I will start. I will post more about it once I find out more but for now thought I would let everyone know I start work next week.

Horton Cellars Wine Tasting Trip

Leaha and I went to Horton Winery today to taste some wine. We couldn't get a tour today the tasting room was to busy for us to get a tour today. We plan on going back during the week for a tour. Leaha took some pictures of us there and us tasting some wine. It was a fun time. We learned a little bit about wine and tasting. I found out I like a sweeter wine and not so much a dry wine. To my surprise my favorite was a white wine called Niagra. I also liked the raspberry cabernet Fanc, and a apple dessert wine called Eden. Later on tonite we are going to carve the two pumpkins we got at the pumpkin patch. And than I have to get ready for tomorrow the big Patriots vs Dallas game. Keith and Logan are Dallas fans so I'm going to be outnumbered in the cheering for the Patriots.

I'm supposed to hear back from the printing press by Wednesday with a job offer so hopefully this will be my last week of looking for work. I already took the pre-placement drug test on Thursday so the job hunt is looking up.

Time for a new post.

Well it has been a while since my last post. To be honest there has not been all that much going on I'm still looking for work. I have had a few interviews that have gone well. Still waiting to hear from them though. The walmart distribution center has called me back for a second interview and I will be going for a 3rd. Not sure when the 3rd interview will be yet I was told they would call me next week to set up the 3rd interview. The person that gave me the second interview said the 3rd interview is pretty much to offer you a job and to take a pre-placement drug test before they hire you. Hopefully that will happen next week.

I have been looking around on the internet and found a pumpkin patch Leaha and I are going to go to either this weekend or next week to pick our own pumpkins. They take you on a hayride to the pumpkin patch from the farm. They also have a corn maze that should be a fun time.

We are also supposed to go to kings dominion for there Halloween festival that they have there I can't wait.

All unPacked

Well we are all unpacked and the truck was taken away today. So far we have not found anything broken. We have not opened everything but looks good so far. Some stuff went straight from the truck to storage. Hopefully when we open those boxes all will be good. We have been pretty busy unpacking and moving things to the storage unit the last couple days.

I have also been applying at other places than the few places where my brother-in-law and his friend work at. I found two printing presses that do what I did when I worked at dingley press. So hopefully one of them will call me back. I sent them my resume today.

Today Leaha and I rested we didn't do to much. Though it was are first trip into Charlottesville by ourselves today. Horray we didn't get lost. Charlottesville is about 22 miles from the house. We just went into Target and PetSmart. We ate at pannera Bread company. It was good. Tonite Leaha is gone grocery shopping with her sister so I had some time to throw up this post. The post should get a little bit more frequent now that we are pretty much settled in.

There is a lot of jobs around here that are hiring for more than 12.00/hr. I'm going to concentrate on applying to all of them that I can tomorrow and Monday. I should see Eric this weekend too so he will let me know about a job where he works.

So far I like it down here . It is kinda weird seeing so many trees and none of them being pine trees though. All the red clay is a bit different too.
